Trying 5 Popular Women’s Perfumes (Guerlain, Juicy Couture, Sisley, Marc Jacobs, Coach)

Oops! I have owned a Juicy Couture fragrance a looong time ago, so long ago that I forgot LOL. It was the original one. Very floral, quite nice, if you’re in a floral mood.

Fragrances mentioned:
Coach – Floral EDP
Juicy Couture – Viva La Juicy Sucre
Juicy Couture – Viva La Juicy & Viva La Juicy Gold Couture
Marc Jacobs – Eau So Decadent
Guerlain – La Petite Robe Noire Intense EDP
Sisley – Eau Du Soir

Piotr Czarnecki has one called Bluebijou that is heavily blueberry, I got a sample from LuckyScent, and it’s a dark, boozy, jammy, spicy blueberry, plus hints of pipe tobacoo. Really gorgeous, BUT it didn’t seem to last very long on my skin. It could be because dab-on samples kinda suck in general. I’m definitely eyeballing a full bottle of it because it is different and I love boozy scents.

I’ve been wanting to try Eau Du Soir for a while now. I think it’ll be in my next sample order.

Hi Arlene! Viva la Juicy, I like it a lot for layering but the Gold Couture is my favorite of the Juicy Couture line. I really like that one. The Sucre is good but not one that I’d purchase. The only VlJ that I don’t like is the VlJ Rose Couture, it doesn’t smell good on me. Never tried ANY from Coach – can’t believe that really 🙂 That LPRN flanker sounds interesting – blueberry. I haven’t really found a good realistic blueberry fragrance yet, but I do like Arabian Oud Kalemat even though the blueberry isn’t primary. Thanks Arlene, have a couple to put on the try list. Oh! If you think the notes lists on fragrantica are not quite right try comparing the notes to those on Parfumo.net

Great review! I love Eau du Soir too. I’m looking forward to your review, and really would like to know how it compares to Maison Lancome Oud Bouquet. Thanks. <3

Jimmy Choo has a good pear as well.

Wendy Yeong says:

i love pear as well!

Free Spirit says:

I like that Coach and Sisley. But my problem with both of these is the dry down. It gets a little generic by then for me. Like the Marc Jacob’s too.

Mother Bond says:

Straight up blueberry scent to me is Diptyque’s “oyedo”. I don’t like an annoying sweet scent but VLJ sucre’s dry down on me smells chocolate; pleasant, comforting..

Liz Simmons says:

Arlene u have to try the new Michael khors twilight it’s gourmand & smells like apple pie & lasts a long time at least 8 hrs

Aneta C. says:

Great video ! I have Viva la Juicy and Marc Jacobs ,and I have to admit that Jacobs is really interesting ,to me is the best smell for a spring 🙂

divinedivak says:

I owned Viva la Juciy years ago. I have been eyeing Couture Gold. I like Coach Florale. I have not tried the others. TFS

Vanessa Gidden says:

Great reviews, I have a sample of the Sisley Eau Du Soir and am asking for that for Xmas! A fascinating composition indeed.

Marci LK says:

Coach Florale opens with pure pineapple to me.
