Well you know I love Fracas. Hearing your very entertaining story, I decided to see what the dictionary said about it. I love this, some of these words one never hears these days, so funny as they may or may not relate to your story 😉 XO

Fracas: a noisy disturbance or quarrel.
synonyms: disturbance, brawl, melee, rumpus, skirmish, struggle, scuffle, scrum, clash, fisticuffs, altercation.
informal: scrap, dust-up, set-to, donnybrook.
vulgar slang: shitstorm.
“the fracas in the alley drew the attention of a passing patrol car”

Haha, donnybrook. Ahhh, you’re welcome 😉

Alex Olendorff says:

I must try the muller Cologne! It’s is such a great price as well!

Drouin Johnny says:

” fleur du mâle” i don’t know if he was thinking of : Les fleurs du mal de Charles Baudelaire ….iconic poetry ❤️

Adriana Façanha says:

viva dacob dark-toned! love from Brazil!!!

Gabriela Antes Kuhn says:

fleur du male <3 I love it....

Black Lily says:

Love it! The end of my april and beginning of may is really sweet because here winter is coming instead of summer. Also it was my birthday a few days ago so I’m wearing my sweet things more than usual. Poison Girl was my birthday fragrance, I just got one, despite my shade when it first came out but now I’ve surrender hahaha. You were right, that thing in a club is a beast, I felt like Camille Rowe herself! But I always wear my classics too, L’Heure Bleue for example is one that I always have to wear when I want to be *myself* in my full expression (note: it’s ultra sweet, floral and full-bodied, so that’s why). Love your new hair, you look absolutely flawless! =]

Cardsmaster says:

Fracas is a mystery but I could never get into Bandit…

Troy Smythe says:

I’ve got to get my nose on No. 22.
Now which concentration of Fracas is this?

msemb72 says:

Dacob you look like such a bad ass in your top and dark hair , love it! I’ve heard that no 22 smells similar to no 5? What’s your opinion?

Melinda Cooper says:

I always look forward to your monthly favorite perfumes!  So if you are saying “mal” in French – it means evil, bad or wrong…you are correct! :} I also have been wearing Chanel no 22 this month 🙂 BUT the way you were describing Fracas today, I’m going to have snag it soon!  LOL  My goodness, I need a fan!!! xxoo

Bee Rachael says:

Love coco noir for date night, I find it easier to wear than coco although I do mix them and like that too – my favourite for this time of year is green florals that dew on grass at dawn vibe

Michael McDonald says:

Wow! Your shirt looks like the surface of a Bally running sneaker 🙂

invisiblegirl422 says:

Fascinating choices this month! I will add no 22, Coco Noir and Fracas to my sampling. That tuberose if it is not synthetic is a potentially dangerous ingredient if it works with your body chemistry. Highly arousing. My vintage samples I have been testing, when worn , have awoken some lust that I thought was gone and buried. TMI? Sorry, but true ! <3

Drouin Johnny says:

I need to smell Fracas….your vision of it is amazing

Tanisha says:

I love the darker brown hair color on you!

Victoria Smith says:

Hello, dear Dacob! Thank you for doing this amazing selection for us.
I adore Fleur du Mâle! Such a shame it isn’t available any longer…many great things if not most, sadly, vanish eventually. But we should enjoy our happy moments while they last, which I did 😉
I remember trying it out at 17, particularly out of my great love for Baudelaire’s poetry as I was just starting learning French, I only dreamed of appreciating it in the original, and now many years of hard work allow me to do that.

I haven’t smelt anything quite like it before – it must be petitgrain and basil, pretty rare notes. A very unique floral, rebellious in a way. And the marketing! Isn’t it one of the best ones by Gaultier? And I remember the performance was really powerful, one spray on the back of my neck was enough to be surrounded with with magical milky cloud of poetic symbolism.

Have a beautiful day! xx

P.s. Darker hair really accentuates your features, and looks moody, just in time for new Twin Peaks;)

ForeverFragrantKid says:

Great choices! I’ve never had the pleasure to try Fleur de Male! Sounds really nice though.

Another great video Dacob! Thank you! ♡

Daniel Hammond says:

Excellent choices. Yours always are!
I could buy any of those perfumes myself, especially Fracas and Coco Noir, but I have to restrain myself. Money! Such filthy muck!

byn byn says:

parfums have also shelf life,  which usually is two years if it is in glass transparent bottle, or up to five years in an aluminum bottle , if well sealed after each use. in daily life we can use them much longer than the original shelf life , the interesting thing is beyond the shelf life the parfum usually goes rouge, then it could be a unique surprise and that is also part of the charm.

Stanleydragonjr says:

Fracas is 60 years old and still amazing
I have tried this and loved it
I have Gardenia which is magnificent
Love your beautiful picks
Xoxo
Take care
All the best to you dear Dacob

Kai Buhr says:

Have you ever tried L’Homme Idéal by Guerlain? Amazing scent for autumn/winter/wet spring days

Gabriela Antes Kuhn says:

here in Brazil it is falll, and I live in the south, really cold here, so, my favorites for the fall are sycomore, vetiver guerlain, Mate Verde – Natura, gincenso – Daniel Barros and tresor la nuit,

Zane Torgane says:

Hallo, SuperDacob!

…….25 years have passed since Laura Palmer, the troubled coquette employed at the perfume counter of Horne’s Department Store in David Lynch’s Twin Peaks, made her impression on our minds and hearts.  Since, the echoes of the haunting chords of the famous soundtrack have kept her memory and the mysteries surrounding her death brewing in the collective consciousness. House of Matriarch Perfumer Christi Meshell has returned to this music again and again over the years for it’s haunting mood.  Residing near the Snoqualmie Forest where the series was filmed, Christi has a deep knowing of how those dark woods smell.
When Christi saw a video of Angelo Badalamenti, the composer of the famous soundtrack, recounting the story of how he and David Lynch sat together at his piano to co-compose the soundtrack, Christi began to imagine the aromas which seemed to accompany the famous question still being asked:  “Who killed Laura Palmer?”

Jonas C says:

Wow, I love your outfit so much. You’ve got a Daft Punk vibe going on.

Gerardo Acosta says:

Fleur du male is Male Flower. As in flower for a man. Fracas is all about tuberose, not gardenia.
